Simple Fun Things to do with Kids

Every mom should keep a list of simple fun things to do with kids that require little to no prep and/or supplies that will help strengthen the family bond – the romance growing between parent and child. Having a pre-thought out list is an excellent ‘secret weapon’ to pull out when the kid(s) need a little extra loving on.
I have found that keeping a mental list of simple fun things to do with kids helps ensure that those simple moments are happening – it is easier to create the bonding moments – the moments where we romance their hearts- when you’re in a mindset of looking for ways to do so.
For us one such simplicity is star gazing. We lay with our heads tucked closely together and look at the stars. I treasure those moments.
The times we are up late enough for the boys to see the stars are usually times when all I really want to do is put them straight to bed – so it is all the more meaningful to have this special activity that we do together. It takes no planning, no supplies and no money. And yet it is something we all greatly enjoy.
