One of our favorite family night activities is Game Night. The boys adore playing games and we have slowly grown our collection of favorite children games to play for family game night.
We don’t particularly like traditional childish games so it has been a challenge to find a good mix of games for game night.
Here are some of our favorite Game night games or activities:
Cardinal Double 12 Color Dot Mexican Train Dominoes in Tin
Melissa & Doug Magnetic Wooden Dinosaurs in a Box
Ravensburger Enchanted Forest (we don’t own this one, but one very, very similar by Ravensburgerer called Mystery Garden – I just can’t find that one and this one looks GREAT!)
We have found these games or activities to be very fun for the entire family and if you’re looking for Christmas or birthday gifts for children or families I would highly recommend these games as they’ve all been enjoyed in our home (with the exception of the game I noted as being only similar to the game we own.

Thanks for including links to game suggestions! We love games and are always looking for more nontraditional ones as well!! My husband loves to ignore the suggested age ranges and teach our little ones to play monopoly, risk, etc. And they always feel so special getting to play a "grown up" game!!
