I love how kids remember things from year to year.
Spring rolls around and my boys know we should be eating dinner in the backyard, that their Easter baskets will be discovered at the end of a long maze of string, that Popsicle flavors need to be imagined, and that our biannual one on one dates will be happening soon.
They keep me on track, and the things that they remember and cherish help me evaluate what is worth spending time and effort on and what things are not worth spending time and effort on.
Some of my favorite Spring activities for kids from previous years that we’ll be doing again this year:Tea party play date – – a fun activity to share with friends and enjoy the outdoors before the insane heat of summer hits.
Lollipop craft — they have made other version of this all year long! Flower pots are a great basis for crafts.
You make me smile cookies — super easy and a fun gift for others.
Fingerprint art –fun for a rainy afternoon or to do outdoors as a calm activity.
Frozen grapes on a stick — a favorite snack!
My friend Marnie from Carrots are Orange has compiled 30 fun Spring activities from around the web that are worth checking out if you’re looking for even more ideas!Related Posts:
