Hymn Lyrics

hymn-lyricsThere is something so incredibly beautiful about these old hymn lyrics. The depth and appreciation they share of the person of Christ is so precious. I have journals scrawled with hymn lyrics that have spoken to me in various seasons of life, and now I am wanting to do something with all of these beautiful hymns I have enjoyed.

I am starting something new here on Sundays, as a way to help point our hearts and thoughts to Christ I am going to share a hymn each week. It will be the entirety of the hymn lyrics, and then a graphic with just a portion of the hymn lyrics on it. These hymns can be found here and a new hymn will be added every Sunday morning.

The graphics from those hymn selections will be added here and if you click on the image you should be able to save to your computer and print them. See below for printing tips.

For those, like me, that do not own a color printer, the best method that I have found for printing color images is to upload them to a place such as Staples and order a color print on 110lb white cardstock. They are ready rather quickly and so far I have been very pleased with the print results. We have prints hanging throughout our home, and it is such a joy to have custom made art that is meaningful to us.

Please contact me if you have any problems with these files. Sometimes things go wrong with my pluggins and I won’t know unless I am told!

Also, if you are interested in more printables check out these free Bible verses prints that are there to encourage and are also available for printing. The bottom of that post explains another method I use for printing and sharing these graphics – though the prints with a lot of words will not show up very well in that print form.

Cultivating faithfulness,

Jessica
