What’s in the Bible has completed their dvd series that walks children through a comprehensive overview of scriptures using songs, puppets, and story and now they have come out with two more excellent products for those that enjoyed the series – a Sing through the Bible dvd and a Color through the Bible coloring book. Our family has thoroughly appreciated the dvds for the solid teaching and I have written about the What’s in the Bible dvds in the past. These two new products that help reinforce stories, themes, verses, and truths have been well received in our home and I am thankful for materials that are fun and gently teach and point my children to God’s word.
Sing Through the Bible has 30 songs, with sing a long lyrics, that takes you through the Bible from Genesis-Revelation. My boys really enjoy songs but I wasn’t sure what they would think of a dvd of just songs, but they loved it! They sang and giggled their way through it and have quoted lines and sung what they remember of the songs since. It’s been a hit and I am thankful for this additional resource that helps cement Biblical truths in their mind.
Color Through the Bible is an impressive coloring book that also works through the books from Genesis – Revelation. There are Bible story scenes to color (with a short description and Bible reference) and there are verses to color in too. It is really well organized, with each dvd volume clearly labeled so you can easily find the corresponding dvd and coloring sheet if you want to work through them together. There is also a great index at the back for quick reference. At the end of the Bible story coloring sheets are pictures of the characters from What’s in the Bible and my boys LOVE these!
An amazing addition to the coloring pages is that they are reproducible for ministry purposes (not for resale). That means for Sunday school, homeschool groups, or within your own family!Related Posts:
