We had our family pictures done this week by a very talented friend of mine – she captured the heart of us so well and I am just tickled with the images. I think I have gone through them at least 20 times. She has a sneak peak of the images up on her blog here if you want a peak. The above picture is one of my favorites – just moments before my littles were running wildly through the field. A good book has the power to subdue and captivate their imaginations and I just love that.

Paul is on his school break right now. Our original plan was to spend 3 days in Florida, camping on the beach. But with temperatures fore casted for the mid 70′s we decided it was too cold. We are indeed spoiled living in the south – we’ll head to the beach when the temperatures are closer to 90 F.

Instead of camping we have had an incredibly laid back, fun and productive week. Paul did his first photo shoot at a horse farm for a senior at church. I took a few fun pictures of the kids playing and this is one of my favorites from the shoot that Paul took;

This is one of my favorite things:

And combined with Beets, Carrots and Spinach we have enjoyed some fantastic juice this week. Freshly juiced fruits and vegetables are incredible – we both instantly feel more energized after a glass of it. {Paul bought a juicer back in January with his Christmas and birthday money. After shopping around for months he got an incredible deal from a Craigslist seller in another state. The juicer is one of his favorite toys.}

Inspired by a recent post about pizza bites somewhere over on this blog I decided to try making some for us – they are delicious! I used a pizza dough recipe from Allrecipes.com and put pepperoni and cheese inside and sprinkled with cheese and other seasonings. We are going to one of the boys favorite places of all times – a local Dairy Farm – and I am bringing them along for a picnic dinner!

I wish so badly I could bottle these two up and preserve them as they are right now forever. I am excited to see them continue to grow into noble and courageous young men – but I so cherish the innocent, the cuteness and the imaginations they currently posses.

Judah is determined to marry me. Wesley carries around a piece of cardboard which he insists is his laptop. They sit in boxes and ride down our carpeted stairs. They make up silly songs. They create weapons they then use to kill the dragons invading our house.

Life is good.
