Berry Picking :: family day

web1 On Wednesday we drove out to a cute little berry farm for our first ever berry picking as a family. I have wanted to find a fruit farm where we could go and pick ourselves but the places I have checked are either extremely pricey or extremely miserable (big warnings that children *are not* to eat any berries…)

The first thing the boys were told at this farm was to be sure to fill their bellies up as they picked – so sweet!

There was a gorgeous flower patch as well as a blackberry patch — a fabulous family day outing, and we will be enjoying our 15 lbs of berries for the next little while! {along with our frozen grapes! our freezer is happy and full of deliciousness!}

Here is a little peak at our fun —

  1. The pictures are beautiful! I might need to get some of the pictures you took of the flowers printed off for my house…:)
    Where is the berry farm? EJ would love this! He picked some wild blackberries near our house and ate the whole handful in about 10 seconds!
