Let me know how the chickpeas work out for you! I have two friends that told me they tried and the chickpeas either burn or get mushy, they can't get them perfectly crunchy ... I suggested they try putting them in at 350-400 F until they are mostly crunchy and then putting the broiler on for the last few minute(s)... haven't heard how it worked for them, but just wanted to pass that on in case you have problems!

Love it! You have got to be some of the most fun and creative people I know! And I'm glad you reminded me of your roasted chick pea recipe. I've been meaning to try it but have to yet to add it to my grocery list. Doing that now ;)

I don't believe it is always suppose to be lumpy, but having only had my experience burning it I can't tell you with certainty what the texture will be :) Have fun with your sister! I use to fight a lot with my younger sister too ... it stopped when we got older :)

hey jessica,
my name is amy and i am 12 years old and i am lookin for something to do with my younger sister because we need to bond more (we always fight) this looks like just the thing we can do although does it always come out lumpy? (no offense :) ) i live in northern ireland and its really cold at the minute so we will just have to do it in the summer or inside. thanks - amy x
